Now we all have seen people sing and dance in church and sometimes get a little "too invoolved". Well this man here gives a new meaning to praising God. Now if God measured our faith by how much we boogie in church, I'm pretty sure he would have a priority seat on a first Class Flight to Heaven. I personally think he plans these dance moves out trying to say he's "dancing like David" but he has over 800,000 views on Youtube so I guess its worth it. I could go all day talking about how this guy flew and almost hit the innocent lady actually trying to do the right thing but I will let the video describe the rest. Just stay tuned for more funny vids from your favorite, Elorm.

After a tense game between Ghana and Nigeria, Ghana defeats Nigeria 1-0 in the semi finals round of the African Cup of Nations. Nigeria a powerful contender, continued to give up multiple oppourtunities to score. The beautiful score by Asamoah placed Ghana in the finals bracket for the the first time in 18 years.  Now a World Cup Qualifier, Ghana is to face the prevailing team between Egypt and Algeria. We hope that Ghana is able to go all the way this year and pray for the best.

A 7.0 earthquake hit Haiti on Wednesday January 13th. There are people suffering. Many Haitians are homeless and with casualties from 45000 to 50000, families are crushed. I am writing about this now for God to be with those who are injured and with the families of those who lost family members to the earthquake. It only seems like something as devastating as an earthquake can only hit Haiti which is a 3rd world country to begin with. Like if the people there didn't have enough trouble in thier lives already. But still we should keep our relatives, family, and friends that we no in Haiti on our hearts. Please leave your blessings below.

I hope I do not seem fat by writing about African food but one of the many things people traveling to Africa look forward to is the cuisine. I mean, there's soo much to eat and soo much being forced upon one to eat that one can actually spend their entire trip trying to eat everything available, while gaining pounds by the second. It's just amazing the varieties of food that is available. In Ghana, theres jelof, watche, kalami, akpele, (Excuse my spelling, I do not know how to speak Twi) and much more delicasies that one could eat that only seems like they taste better back home. And in Nigeria there's the suya and nkwobi that I have heard from others that can make a man "kolo". (crazy)

Well, back to the inspiration of me writing this blog in the first place; I went to a Nigerian home that in the house, it is illegal for one to not eat. I've eaten alot of Nigerian dishes but there was something about this specific dish I had that was just.......compelling. And while I was there, I had some of the best drumsticks in the world! It was like the perfect combination of flavors that can make one smile while eating it. Now thats when you know you are eating good. It was a combination of BBQ and Spicy African seasoning which was the key in the dish. I felt like a 2 year old with sauce all over my face but did'nt care at all because my mouth was very pleased with what I had just eaten. My nose running from the spiciness and hands covered with mouth-watering sauce, all I could do was just imagine of how back home I could be eating this chicken 24/7! Well, after returning to reality and thanking the cook for my brief trip to Naija Heaven, I realized that I was definetly not the only one who has experienced a life changing experience while eating because there are millions of Africans out there who share equal or bigger appetites as I do. So, I took it upon my self to write a blog about how delicious my dish was and want you too to share an experience when you have eaten something that just made you want just kiss the person who prepared the food and beg for seconds. Just leave a comment below to share your experience about your favorite dish or African food in general.

The thing that is really hard to find today is a good social network that is specifically for africans. Since I am a african american actually born in NY (REPRESENT!) I usually seek to connecct with my African side by listening to african music, and watching african movies; and AAC provides it for me. This is really cool and I am interestied in seeing this site go full blown. I'm telling all my friends about this! African or Not lol.
